XML Sitemaps Could Improve Your Website

Some advice was offered by Yahoo!
recently which could help you improve your SEO campaign.
A post on Yahoo!’s Search Marketing Blog explained how creating a sitemap XML file could become an important part in SEO, now that most major search engines now support them.

An XML file is described as a document which contains a list of website URLs with information relating to each link, which is then placed on the websites server to be cached by search engines.

“This allows you to tell search engines about your URLs, even if they haven’t crawled them naturally by following links on the web,” Yahoo! explained.

Hopefully this is just one secret that Yahoo! has to reveal about new SEO techniques which could help companies optimise their websites better than ever.
