Does Retweeting Assist Internet Marketing?

Have you ever come across a Retweet button on a website that you’ve viewed in the past? Most likely you will have seen one at some point or another – in fact there is one on this page right now. The purpose behind the Retweet button is simple, by being able to allow Twitter members to post a link to the page being viewed you are benefiting from free promotion.

The question is does retweeting assist Internet marketing? The answer is yes. Since we embedded Retweet buttons on our blog recently we have noticed an increase in traffic from not only search engines such as Google but also from Twitter itself. This is because some of our past posts have had well over 100 retweets at a time which means hundreds of different accounts are posting links to even more accounts. Not only is it an effortless process but it is also free which means money can be spent more on other areas of Internet marketing than on the social media area. This doesn’t mean money should be spent on social related websites, but by giving people the chance to do the promotion for yourselves most of the jobs for you are already done.

So how do you convince people to Retweet your pages/posts? By having fresh, relative and innovative content displayed you are more likely to encourage readers to use the Retweet button. From there it’s just a matter of leaving the content to the public and creating new pages/posts to continue the Retweeting.

Working for Weblinx I am the linking specialist. My job is to use various linking techniques to generate high quality links for websites to improve search result positions. By obtaining a number of quality links for a website the chances of improving rankings are increased when done correctly.

Completely agree with the RT cocept.Free advertising is the Holy Grail.

However,it does seem to lead to fewer comments being left on sites.

Dont be shy people.Leave your thoughts behind.Google Loves them Too!
