Bing advertising is done through Microsoft Adcenter and has recently teamed up with Yahoo! so now Adwords on both of these search engines is now controlled through the Adcenter control panel.
Bing advertising (Microsoft Adcenter) is very similar to Google Adwords and works in a very similar way. If anything, Microsoft’s Adcenter is slightly better designed as opposed to Google’s Adwords panel. This is because it allows you to insert parameters at the keyword level whereas Google’s Adwords require the code to be written in order to accept the keyword variables.
Bing Advertising With Yahoo!
Although Yahoo and Bing only get around 20% of the searches in the UK it is not an area that can be dismissed as Yahoo and Bing are about to spend millions promoting their new partnership and most importantly of all, the cost per click is significantly smaller than advertising on Google.
The structure of Bing advertising is well designed and works on the same principal to its competitors. This is by using the same formula of “quality score multiplied by cost per click” and working around the same principle of past click through rate.
